Why Pawpaws?

North America's Forgotten Fruit

The pawpaw (Asimina triloba) is North America's largest native fruit. Pawpaw fruit tastes like banana and mango, with the texture of a ripe avocado. Pawpaw trees are adapted for life in temperate North America and produce bountiful harvests of high quality fruit with little need for pesticides or fertilizer. Help us take the final steps to bring pawpaws to the people!
